OK so it’s that time of the year again when we’re wiping the dust of our credit cards and getting them ready for action. It’s time to spend up big! like we do every Christmas, whether its buying presents for others, rewarding our selves, going on a holiday or simply out having fun. All of this is great! or is it?
January can often leave us with a huge spending hangover, we’ve had the fun over Christmas and now its time to clear up the mess, including the credit card!
To make the blow over Christmas a little bit easier for you, it’s a good idea to consider a balance transfer credit card before Christmas occurs. That way any funds on your existing credit card can be transferred over to the new one and you will pay less interest. Of course it can be equally if not better time to do this in January when you have racked up more money on the card. Either way, do consider it as it should save you hundreds.
